I can’t breathe

I can't breathe

I can’t breathe anymore, when I watch the news.

To hear their lies and despicable views.

I can’t breathe anymore when I walk down the street where glorious skyscrapers and homelessness meet.

I can’t breathe anymore when I see the rich and secure bask in their vain, while the poor and the destitute writhe in their pain.

Let go.

I can’t breathe.

Don’t let lies and hypocrisy strangle the good that remains.
