ISIS? North Korea? Iran?
Not even close.
America’s greatest enemy sits on a pedestal in every household attempting to control everything we see.
“Television is the greatest and most all pervasive hypnotist and propaganda tool ever conceived.”
“TV teaches people what to think, but not how to think.”
“TV has given modern humans an utterly false perception of society, of the world, and of each other.”
“There’s a method to their madness,
but there’s really not much method to [ours] because [we’re] operating from a place of ignorance.”
The messages we’re force-fed on a daily basis constitute our lives, consume our minds, shape our goals, and frame our discourse. In the worst of cases, they turn our own children against us.
This is not informing and entertaining. This is programming.
And how did they manage to control everything we see on TV?
The Federal Communications Commission ordered its staff to destroy all copies of a draft study that suggested greater concentration of media ownership would hurt local TV news coverage, a former lawyer at the agency says.
The report, written in 2004, came to light during the Senate confirmation hearing for FCC Chairman Kevin Martin.
Who just happened to further relax the rules governing media consolidation.
Nothing is by chance.
Adam Candeub, now a law professor at Michigan State University, said senior managers at the agency ordered that “every last piece” of the report be destroyed. “The whole project was just stopped – end of discussion,” he said.
Everything is calculated to make it that much easier and effective for them to control what we see.
If Knowledge is Power, then communication is key.
We must inform ourselves, each other and our children because only the truth will set us free.
