Today, the Prime Minister of Israel was gifted the opportunity to launch a scathing attack on the foreign policy of the United States, in the US Congress, against the wishes of the American President – and won 25 near-hysterical standing ovations for doing so.

This much ass kissing should never be allowed in public – not even in congress.

The fallout of today’s extraordinary breech of diplomatic standards is still settling across the Capitol, the country and the international community. But one thing is for sure, America was diminished today. Congress invited a foreign leader to lobby against the American President, and cheered him for so doing. All those responsible must be considered an insult to their office, and their flag.

It’s not just an insult – it’s a crime – but it’s no surprise.
