The clip shows both the video captured by a bystander and circulated all over the internet, and the video later released by the police that was taken using the dash cam.
The police chief goes to great lengths to defend the indefensible, claiming the officer “followed protocol” and rounding up some half-willing witnesses to recount their version of how she sort of, kind of, somehow brought it upon herself for kind of, sort of resisting arrest … a little bit.
I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that he threw her on the floor with so much force it knocked her unconscious in front of her 6-yr-old daughter or that chief of police himself thereafter insisted he was “just following protocol.”
