In fairness, at the rate they “print” money, and create it from thin air through interest and unfettered speculation it almost doesn’t matter what we pay in taxes.
But the main reason we are forced to pay taxes is to keep us shackled to their system and their objectives, and to make sure we have no time or energy left to help ourselves, save a few days a year to “vote” for our bought and paid for representatives.
The real ‘secret to their success’ is making sure that through it all they don’t get taxed and that they maintain the power to issue money, and trade financial instruments until kingdom-come, creating the pretext by which they acquire exclusive rights to all the world’s resources and the justification for remaining at its helm. “They deserve it.” They’re the “entrepreneurs” and “job creators” – my ass.
In the end, everything they “accomplish” or “acquire” is on our dime and through our time and our labor.
Ever wonder why individuals bear the cost of living whereas corporations write off the cost of doing business? Our tax dollars at work, lobbying for their interests.
The video below by Robert Reich explains it all in less than 3 minutes.
In the words of the late, great George Carlin – the game is rigged, the table is tilted and it won’t straighten itself out until someone sits up and takes notice.
